Regularly Check The Weight And Quality Of The Oil
- Apr 12, 2018 -

As we all know, the reducer of hoisting machinery is one of the most important parts. Therefore, if it is necessary to repair and replace it, the price is also very expensive and troublesome, but as long as the maintenance inspection is performed, the speed reducer is not easy to fail. Following Xiaobian to see how to maintain the reducer!

First, the daily maintenance of the reducer:

1. Regularly check if the installation foundation, seals, transmission shafts, etc. are normal.

2. For normal use, always check the oil level of the oil (observed through the oil window). The maximum temperature of the oil should be less than 85°C. If the oil temperature rises abnormally and abnormal noise occurs, the machine must be shut down immediately for inspection. After troubleshooting, you can continue to use it.

3. Replacement of new spare parts must be formalized after run-in and load tests.

4. It is not allowed to gravity hammer the reducer casing to avoid damage.

Second, the use of lubricants inspection and replacement:

1. The working environment temperature of the reducer is -40 +40°C. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C, the lubricating oil must be heated to above 0°C or a low freezing point oil before starting.

2. For the first time or after the replacement of the worm gear or reduction gear pair, replace the lubricating oil after running for 150-400 hours. The subsequent oil change period is less than or equal to 4000 hours.

3. Regularly check the weight and quality of the oil, retain enough lubricating oil, and replace the oil mixed with impurities or deterioration in time.

4. The amount of oil to be injected shall be in accordance with the requirements. Oils of different brands shall not be mixed. Oils with the same grade and different viscosity shall be allowed to be mixed.

5. Regularly check the weight and quality of the oil, retain enough lubricating oil, and promptly replace the oil mixed with impurities or deterioration.
