To handle long-span beams, irregular assemblies, and ultra-large structural units, KAIDAO deployed two QD double-girder cranes operating in coordinated mode. Fitted with dual trolleys (50 t + 25 t), this configuration significantly enhances lifting stability, minimizes load swing, improves load balance, and reduces mechanical stress on both workpieces and supporting infrastructure during transport and precise positioning.

Combining the spatial efficiency of overhead cranes with the adaptability of gantry systems, these units are ideally suited for hybrid zones where floor-level processing, staging, and material feeding occur adjacent to the main production line. Mounted along workshop perimeters or within dedicated handling bays, these cranes facilitate efficient steel component transfer, just-in-time material supply to fabrication platforms, and localized lifting-all without interfering with overhead crane travel paths.
