The electric hoist can be directly hung on the beam for fixed use, or it can be mounted on an I-beam track with a sports car. The usually recommended method is to connect the flange on the I-beam track with the building with bolts, and the lower flange is used to power the wheels of the hoist.

The type of I-beam track used by each type of electric hoist is stipulated to have a certain range, which is stated in the product parameter model table. I-beam outside this range cannot be used because it cannot reach the range. , The flange is too narrow; the wheels of the electric hoist will fall off the track and derail, causing an accident. If the selection exceeds the range, the flange is too wide, and the electric hoist wheel cannot be installed on the track. For example, for a 1 ton electric hoist, the range of I-beam track is 16-28b (GB706-65). If it is less than 16, it cannot be used for 14; it cannot be used if it is larger than 28b, that is, it cannot be used for 32a. 

When the electric hoist is used as a lifting and transportation tool in the workshop, there must be a sufficient distance from the bottom of the beam of the workshop building to the ground, as shown in Figure 2. This distance includes: 


1. The height of the I-beam track. 

2. Lifting hoist height H, that is, after the electric hoist is installed on the I-steel track, the distance from the limit position of the electric hoist hook to the bottom surface of the I-steel track. This distance can be found on the product sample, usually 1~5 tons Electric hoist, H=685~1031mm. 

3. The maximum height of the lifting item b. 

4. The height of the rigging when lifting goods. It is usually half the width of the lifted item.

5. When lifting goods, the height of the goods from the ground. If you want to cross an obstacle, it must be 0.5 meters higher than the obstacle. 

6. There should be a safe distance between the position of the hook when lifting the goods to the highest position and the limit position of the electric hoist hook to avoid accidents. The distance should be greater than 0.5 meters. If the distance between the bottom of the beam of the workshop building and the ground is less than the sum of the above heights, it will affect the use of the electric hoist, or even not use it, so it must be paid enough attention.
