The project was initiated by the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized and implemented by the China Machinery Industry Federation as a key project of the National Science and Technology Support Plan spanning the 12th Five-Year Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan - "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Lightweight Bridge Lifting Machinery". Through the joint promotion of project sponsors and co-sponsors for three years, breakthroughs have been made. Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation organized a sophisticated project acceptance team. By listening to the report of the project work and organizing technical certification on the spot, the comprehensive acceptance of the lightweight core transmission gear reducer of lifting machinery was carried out. The acceptance expert group fully affirmed the timing of the project and made a number of technological breakthroughs, which provided a complete set of technical support system for further promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's lifting machinery to the direction of precision, lightweight, green and energy-saving, and catching up with the advanced international level.




National science and technology support projects spanning two five-year plans have passed authoritative acceptance




Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation organized the comprehensive acceptance of the 12th Five-Year National Science and Technology Support Plan "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Lightweight Reducer of Bridge Crane" in Jiangsu Province, which was undertaken by Jiangsu Tailong Reducer Co., Ltd. and other units. The expert group listened carefully to the report of the work of the subject and carried out on-site inspection, technical demonstration and combined acceptance. After inquiry and discussion, it was confirmed that the project focused on the key technical requirements of lightweight reducer of bridge crane, carried out the key technical research of lightweight lifting mechanism structure optimization, lightweight reducer optimization design and dynamic analysis, manufacturing and quality control of key parts of lightweight reducer, test and application of lightweight reducer, and developed 13 kinds of three-level and 12 kinds of four-level specifications of lightweight reducer. Quantitative reducer series products, developed the comprehensive performance test device of lightweight reducer, completed the research content and evaluation index stipulated in the task book, and achieved the expected goal.




The project confirms: Tailong reducer company optimizes the structure and transmission system of lightweight bridge crane hoisting mechanism, puts forward the structure form of lightweight reducer unilateral support; based on the parameterization and modularization technology of the concept of generalization and combination diversity, forms the series type spectrum of bridge crane reducer; based on the optimum hardening layer depth design, residual stress and deformation control. Precision heat treatment technology of hard face gears has formed the production process of high power density gears, improved the bearing capacity of gears and reducers, solved the problem of oil leakage of reducers by using dynamic and static combined sealing technology, and completed the lightweight design and manufacture of 10 prototypes. The self-designed and manufactured reducer of lifting mechanism of lightweight bridge crane has been realized.




This project has built a corresponding production demonstration base in Tailong Reducer Company, which satisfies the annual production capacity of 5000 sets of lightweight reducer for overhead crane hoisting mechanism; applied for 10 patents, including 4 invention patents and 1 computer software copyright; published 15 academic papers; formulated an enterprise standard and trained a number of technical backbone, including 9 graduate students and 1 doctor. Based on the ideas and important tasks of the development of manufacturing industry put forward in the Outline of the National Medium and Long Term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020) and the Special Plan of the 12th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Green Manufacturing Science and Technology, this project undertakes the scientific and technological support project of the Ministry of Science and Technology across the two five-year plans of the 12th Five-Year Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan-Bridge Crane Lightweight. The core equipment of the project and the independent project "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Lightweight Reducer of Bridge Crane" are clearly sponsored by Jiangsu Tailong Reducer Co., Ltd. and jointly organized by Beijing Lifting and Transportation Machinery Design Research Institute, Zhengzhou Machinery Research Institute, Chongqing University and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. According to the requirements of the support project of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the appraisal of the project acceptance team, compared with the JB/T10817 reducer, the lightweight reducer has 41% higher power density, 30% higher load-carrying capacity, 10% less weight, 3 dB lower noise and about 10% material savings, reaching the leading level of similar products in China. The overhead crane equipped with the transmission machinery can reduce the weight of the whole crane by 15%~20% and the energy consumption by more than 10%. It lays a solid technical foundation for China's lifting machinery to climb the international advanced level and realize lightweight, intelligent and green manufacturing.
